PROY – GOULARD

CÔTE DES BLANCS

EPERNAY

We cultivate 4.5 hectares of vines, of around 35 years old. We take care of the earth so the grapes can embody the terroir, the year, with all its qualities and potential to produce a great Champagne wine.

Pinots Noirs from La Petite Montagne de Reims are planted on a clay-loam soil, strong terroir from which the grapes extract their character in order to bring body and structure to our wines.

Chardonnays from La Cote des Blancs, favourite terroir of these grapes, where they draw their finesse and minerality so much sought after.

Meuniers from the Massif de St Thierry, with a remarkable sandy-loam soil, bring exotic notes of yellow fruits, with a hint of citrus fruits, very pleasant for our assemblages.

The blend of these terroirs give our wines a unique balance in Champagne. Natural and traditional Winemaking. PART OF OUR WINES ARE VINIFIED IN OAK BARRELS. Each step of the process is carried out fairly, rigorously and according to the rules, from pressing to bottling. In the darkness of the cellars, the bottles go through their maturation on lees for 2 to 7 years. Dosage is very low in order to reveal the purity of our champagnes.
